    Rig, Fair Price

My local LBS has a Rig in stock, in my size. What's a fair price to pay? They have the list price on the Rig at $999.

List price is fair ($1099), $999 is even fairer

Just buy it. You'll quickly forget what you paid after you roll a few feet down the trail. Bike shops mark up sucks and I promise you they are not getting rich.

They're treating you fairly. If you like it, buy it.

$999. True "list" is $1099 and since they already have it at $999 they obviously aren't trying to screw you. Its a very sweet ride for the price, and most LBSs really aren't making much money at all.

I'm going out for a ride on my rig tomorrow

As the guy who answered the phone at the shop when Cooper411 called to price those bikes, I'd like to thank you guys for vouching for our pricing.

Cooper411, we have a 19" X-Cal I could loan you for the day to try out, if you're still not sure about the 29" thing... I took it out to RCP the other day, and it's the first twinge of regret I've felt about the 26" custom steel I built a few months ago. Look me up at the Richardson store, or ask for Louis or Jeremiah.

Oops, just saw on your other post that you bought the Paragon. Nice choice!

    See you at RCP sometime...
