    Riding with J... Pics included...

We had a couple hours today without D so we decided to take advantage of it and hit the new favorite trail of J.

I'm gonna brag a little and say this kid's riding is improving, or maybe it's his desire for riding is growing.

Singlespeed content: I rode my ss and he likes to ride my old ss on trails with less climbing.

Guess who finally found her digital camera...

Heaven on earth, except the trailer park in the background. You must be proud. That's some technical looking stuff and he seems to be handling it with aplomb. BTW, I've always wanted to know how much that Edge SS of your's weighs.

That would be the campsite for Country Jam, an event that was taking place over the weekend. We rode to the music.

My Edge weighs in at about 20 pounds. I could certainly lighten it up if I changed a few things, as the frame itself only weighs 3 pounds with a powder coat (Colombus Foco and Ultra-Foco tubing).

As far as technical ability, it comes from building bridges across the street made from boards and 2x4's to ride. It's a good thing we live in a cul du sac, but even then there is frequent disassembly for car traffic.
