Review: Soma Juice Rigid 29er SS

    Hi All,

Just finished a longish-term review of the Soma Juice 29er. I had it set up singlespeed (32/18 and 32/19) for about 95% of the time, but I threw gears on it right at the end of the review to cover all my bases with the frame (if you're wondering why the pics show a derailleur). It spent about 95% of its life with one gear.

So, if you're thinking about building up this frame or just want to see some bike porn of the Brownstone paint job, check it out!

My experiences with the juice have been similar, although mine has not been used much outside of singletrack.

Anyone with this frame successfully find a touch-up paint? What specific color matches? Mine has some nasty nicks.

Nope. I usually just cover over with anything I figure will seal, rather than try to paint match. It's a sharp looking bike, but mine has lots of character marks from being used on the trail. I don't try to hide them, just make sure the frame is protected from rust.

Great review and you covered a lot of build options for all types of riders. My favorite was the fat tire full rigid option that I've been sticking to on my single speeds. Thanks!
