    recommend me some fenders

please recommend me some fenders -

the clipons on a SS road bike aren't worth much. Backs of my legs got all wet. On the front I have one of those "mud guards."

I want to be protected from tapeworms and butt-spirits.

I have the SKS full fenders on my crosscheck commuter. I like em. They keep me dry. Not sure if they're rated for butt spirits though.

The Honjo's are awesome looking, but pricey.

Ok, I am getting fenders today. PLanet bikes, Zefals, etc. Something that works. Clipons on a road bike are not fun.

Will the Cascadia Hybrid / Touring fenders fit on a Salsa La Cruz?

I ordered me some planet bike fenders on Friday. Should be arriving any day now. No more wet butt cheeks.

Wet butts are only reserved for hotties that like to swim in like, triathlons.

Much like that 10 phases of singlespeeding thread...there are phases of fender ownership. Wet cheeks, mud guards, clip on fenders, planet bike fenders...then the realization that the only fenders worth using are real full coverage metal fenders.

Amazing that so many riders stay at wet cheeks...

I started putting this together this weekend, got as far as I could without buying parts. The fenders are off something or another, I gave about $10 for them years ago. Thought it'd be good for upcoming wet weather rides around the 'hood.
