    Rain

Rain provides tacky trails, especially normally sandy ones.
    <a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/A9Yj59i08zgb9Z_d275lQw?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh5.ggpht.com/_rrYqLPGLdY4/S4Ho8MCvtbI/AAAAAAAAGfk/20el-XR79zA/s800/P1020031.jpg" /></a>

Rain means our green season will last longer before brown season comes again.
("California does too have seasons....... brown season and green season!")
    <a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/PyCNX8XApZh7obTW2FseRQ?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh5.ggpht.com/_rrYqLPGLdY4/S4HotzUwWTI/AAAAAAAAGfM/H4REen0lDdQ/s800/P2211232.JPG" /></a>
And rigid SS bikes are meant for wet rides.

Really rocky trails and fire roads can still be ridden, even with water running down them.

    to see water water everywhere!

    And the flowers are popping!

Very nice, been shut out of my trails with white season. 24" of fresh came on us in NJ. Getting some x/c skiing in though so not a total lost...

Is that Madonna Mountain? My best friend lives out there and keeps bugging me to go ride out there. If it is it looks good.

No, it is not Cerro San Luis (the real name that some call Madonna Mtn), it is the other open space across the Los Osos Valley, and Montana de Oro State Park. Those photos are from three different rides in two different areas.

Bishops Peak to the left (no bikes, hiking only), Cerro San Luis to the right.
