hey, experienced types.

i am guessing that my usual 32:18 setup, designed for getting up all the technical climbs i can more than for speed, is probably not the best choice for a race (hopbrook dam in conn). especially one billed as "fast, hilly doubletrack," yes?

is 2:1 probably my best bet? or should i stick with the usual; my good old 1.77777779:1? or something even harder than a 2:1? i'm not concerned with winning, or placing, or anything, but i do want to be in the right ballpark ...

oh, and any tire pressure/other race type advice would be appreciated.
