    3 remove or not remove

the cable stops and derailleur hanger from my Surly Crosscheck. I'll soon be having my frame painted, so it would be a good time to take the dremel to the frame and make it a dedicated SS. Of course, I'll be limiting the versatility of the frame by doing so. What would you do?

Are you ever going to sell the frame? That will greatly remove from the resale value. If you are never going to sell it. I say go for it.
