QR or bolt on for sliding dropout to end creaking

I want to know what you all have done. I've got a Lynskey Pro29 2010. With these sliding dropouts I thought I could run a Salsa stainless steel 9mm qr. It creaks when I really torque on the climbs. Are most of you running bolt on or is there a stronger qr that may work better? Never had these qr's creak on my geared bikes. Recently moved from 1x9 to ss. Hub is DT 240. Thanks!

i doubt it's your skewer, it's probably the sliding dropouts themselves.

Same thing happened with my Lynskey too

I went and bought a sliding dropout upgrade set...beefier ti bolts you can really tighten down, and special dual washers to fit under them....stopped the creaking and also no slipping in 6 months....

Where did you get the ti hardware? Thanks!

I'll try that. When I really clamp down the qr it is quieter but it still creakes.
