    Precursor...around ENO

Soon, maybe late July, you will all see a custom frame, built for me...

It will be custom made steel...SS specific. No dir hanger, vert drops, no EBB, ALL ENO. A tad longer on the chainstys to allow for 2.3 29er Exiwolfs...it will have drop bars. A close to flat top tube.

In other words, a big cyclocross bike a la single speed, probably the 1st ever built around the ENO hub.

    How many....

"ENO's" will that be for you? Seems like you've caught your limit!

I do have a moral limit.
My next two frames will be the keepers, never to be ebayed (whoops! do I owe $2 now to Cloxxi?).

Yes, a standard SS, with horizontals
Yes, a standard frame, designed around ENO.

    Your Karma...

is well aligned at least. That blue hardtail frame we swapped for awhile back has been put to good use. I gave it to a college kid who built it up singlespeed for commuting and staircase jumping. He painted it flat black, dead sexy.

Who will be making the new ErnestoEnoMobile?

Was this a frame I shipped to you from when I lived in California? Did it have some paint chips? It was a SuperGo.

I can't tell you who will be making the new ErnestoEnoMobiles...let's just say they've been around for a while and they make incredibly beautiful work...

You'll see the mystery unfold this summer. For now, all I have is a road bike a la fixie.

Yeah, powderblue, some chips and a Mexicano sticker on the headtube.

We traded for some road handlebars I think.

    You ought to know!

I want to do the same thing. I got my eye on someone or two builders....

Can I have ENO and Disc Brakes? Anyone figured that out yet? Pictures? Drawings?

This frame is long gone, but I experimented with the ENO eccentric disc...now all those parts will go on the custom __________ I put money down for.

    Hey Martini,

I'm looking for a couple people to round out an SS team for 24/9...I'll be on the 29er but Mike will be 26". If you're in, we'll need to find one more SSer to fill the team. Let me know if you're interested.

    Later.
