Post your gnarly (rigid) SS action shots!

Show me what you got! Even if you have a suspension fork, post anyways. I want to see how gnarly of a trail most people can ride on a rigid (or hardtail) SS bike. Jumps, rocks, drops etc... Post it, the gnarly-er, the better! Thanks.

    Great pics all.
Now, how about some shots of folks going painfully UP the same sort of terrain...

    Not gnarly nor rigid but

is my favorite of the few that I have that I'm actually riding, usually I'm the one taking the pics.

No pics to offer, but I took my first trail ride on the fully-rigid Mia last Wednesday. I did miss my FS rig on some of the downhills, but it was a blast anyway. With fattish tires, it works pretty well, and you definitely have more precision as to where you can place your front end on technical terrain. It's more work, but it's more rewarding in a way.

I'll try to get some pics next time out.

I recall that Terminaut was thankful for having a suspension fork after this roll:

TD (yes, he stuck the landing)

    Rigid bike and rigid foot

This is not too rad a trail but, it felt pretty rad to ride SS rigid in an immobilizing boot while pulling a trail-a-bike.............a real fun day, at least until my son stopped helping with the pedaling.

the landing is hardly noticable. when you are going that fast you dont even need a landing. it is not that much of a drop, so you just gotta pedal your a$$ off.

I took that pic (Nat/lemming, it would be nice if you left my logo on the pics).

The landing is smooth and easy. The gap is long though. I will not be trying it anytime soon. It is at Falls City OR. Most of the transitions are very good.

    There are more pics here.
