Photos from the past few weeks...

I've been in a deep freeze and my rides aren't many, in fact I drove to Moab only to be turned around by snow. But that doesn't mean I haven't been out. Here are some shots, some good, some not so good, from the Grand Valley's freezer...

Rustler's solo ride. It was pretty chunky, as the trail hadn't been ridden on, just hiked, at times in the slush. I ride early, when the trails are frozen. That means a better surface, no trail damage, but very cold temps (single digits farenheit).

Sometimes I convince others into the madness...

And I drag them out in the snow. If they can stand my whining about the cold, I'll invite them out again...

It was downright balmy for the Superbowl....

Despite the fact that it was snowing, we had to hurry to be off the trails before things melted to mud and slush. Smiles all around!

Nice shots. I wish I had conditions like those to ride in. But instead I've been stuck with this:
read KNOBBY MEATS or be sadly ignorant of the mediocrity that is allowed to exist in the interwebs

Hey don't know you, but have to thank you screampint. Been SS'less and cranky for a few months now, avoiding the forum with shame. But lurking your posts got me all fired up! Brought my frame in to get the ss crankset installed today. Should be rolling it gearless again come Monday!

    Btw, what kind of cookies?

Glad I could inspire you. I think I'm riding pavement today.

The answer to your question would be that I bake. Lots.

This weekend meant chocolate chip cookies, so I could use some to make a crust for a chocolate marble cheesecake; however, I also made a lemon cheesecake, a lemon tart, and a chocolate mousse cake.

    Nice pictures!!

I don't quite have that great of a place to ride, but I did get out over the weekend. Good thing too because the snow is a little deep today.
