Paul Components high flange flipflop 130mm -> 135mm

    Hi there,

I would like to convert a Paul high flange flipflop (fixed/free) from 130mm to 135mm. Does anyone know if this is possible? Is the axle kit for the Disk Word compatible? Any other tips are very welcome.

    thanks,
    david.

    If it's a bolt-on just toss a 2 or 2.5mm spacer/nut per side.
I've done it even with QR axles, on a QR hub you usually have about 5mm of protruding axle per side so you'd be halving that, axle still seats nicely.

my paul's mtb hub uses brass tophat washers over a bolt that threads straight into the hub... dunno if yours is the same or not.
If steel is real then aluminium is supercallafragiliniun!
