part question!
When you thread this on, does the collar go on first, moving the cog towards the frame. or. Does the gear go on first and the collar is closer to the frame.

my guess is collar first.

The cog should be to the outside, just like any fixed gear.

I grew up in buf (sub) I do feel your pain. Although I miss all the snow. I moved to Chicago 4.5 years ago.
