    Paragon dropout popping

I just recently got a Reeb with Paragon sliders in the back. I love the bike, but there seems to be a popping noise in the back that I can't diagnose, I was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions. It happens when I hold the back brake, then rock it back and forth.

I've regreased/torqued the bolts, re-aligned the dropouts with calipers, etc, the only time the noise seems to go away is when the belt is loose or the axle is loose. I'm using a DT axle, not the bolt on one. Hub bearings seem fine. Slider bolts torqued to 20nm.

    Any suggestions on eliminating this?

I've had very little trouble with my paragon sliders, except when they get dirty or when I've used any grease. Paragon recommends zero grease on the sliders, and now that I clean/install them this way I don't have any creaking on hard efforts.

What you describe sounds similar to what I hear as the disc brake pads moving in their housing, which is normal. My shimano brakes do this more than the BB7's they replaced, though.
At what point did you decide you needed more than 1 gear?

Sounds like the brake pads moving back in forth inside the caliper. Does it happen when you're riding?

Turns out it was the axle I was using. I replaced it with a bolt on from Paragon and the noise seems to have gone away.
