    Paging SS'r in Kansas...

I'm thinking of using a '97 M2 Stumpjumper frame to build up a SS for a friend of mine to try before he dives in headfirst with a new frame purchase. I'd love to do it tensioner-less (and without buying an ENO eccentric hub, Ernesto). I've already got a set of SS wheels built and ready to go. What gear combo are you running on that S-works M2 of yours?

    Thanks,
    Nate

Nater, sorry to say but I have my S-Works setup with ENO hub just like Ernesto

Although I did try 32:16, 32:18, 42:16 & 42:21 before buying ENO, but none of those combos worked.

    Thanks...

Thanks for the reply! It's hard to tell from that picture that the hub is an ENO. Well, I'll have to experiment a little bit...did you try any half links? He might have to run tensioner until he gets his new frame!

and if you run an old stretched out chain you might get it to work

    Good Luck
