Paging PADRE: I have a fork question for you?

I happened to see that you posted on the Clydesdale forum that your Dad is running a Marzocchi Z150 ETA fork on his Heckler. Have you ridden that fork? If so, how do you like it for your size, how does it perform, and does the ETA travel reducer mechanism work well for climbing?

Any info you can provide would be great.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.
I have ridden his heckler/z150 combo extensively as has he.
For anyone's size, including my own, that fork is sweet!
It performs just like a Z1...but taller! and the ETA locks down to the 4" travel setting to make the bike climb just like a superlight would...except a few.."cough....pounds heavier. It is a 7lb fork..but that bike rides so tenderly you just don't think about it until you go to load the bike in the truck.
My dad loves the more slacker feel and I love getting on that thing being able to lock it down for the steeps and then let it fly on the downs.

I have a Jr. T on my Bullit...the internals of that Z150 blow away my Jr. T.

I'd be very interested to try the dual-air version of it.....

    hope this helps
