I almost did. I left my house at 8-ish and went over to my Endo's house to carpool. We packed up the car and stopped by Peet's for coffee. We called the lame-brain's we were meeting up with (who were familiar with the trails) and they were still out at breakfast. We sat and chilled with some coffee.... an hour and a half later passed and they still weren't ready. We decided to do a local ride... "Reseda to the Sea" - top of Reseda to Gladstone's on PCH - great workout and great scenery.

had a email exchange friday w/ HW went something like this:

Me: You ridin' SART tomorrow w/ Al?

HW: F no!* not with < 12 hrs. notice. I'm on IM with him now.* He's begging but I ain't buying it.

You guys were cracking me up, and wishin I didn't have a little league on Sat. The bonus was my son was responsible for the only two runs his team scored.
"Life is a [email protected]#^ing story problem, get used to it - my son.

    didn't make it...

damn, I'm sooo bummed I didn't sit around waiting for aosty to sit around waiting for his buddies to go ride.

Bonus: I did a sunset solo ride, then went to see "Super Size Me". Awesome! McDonalds has got to be sh*tting. They (McD) tried to buy out the film when it premiered at Sundance earlier this year. Sorry Ronald....

    No singletrack....

And to make matters worse, Aosty is too fast on his 29er. He was flying up Paseo Miramar and I couldn't catch him. It's been a while since he made me pukey.

I drove down from NoCal with dreams of SART singletrack in my head, ended up riding sweep in the endoverendo / aosty race to the sea and back, beautiful but I'm still sore......
