    Origin8 EBB reviews?

Just wondering if anyone has one of these, and how they'd rate them? Are the bearings any good?

Ideally I'd prefer an EBB that you can screw in a threaded BB, so that I could stick with my Chris King BB, but there doesn't seem to be many good options for that.

    I haven't bought a frame yet, so could go BB30 or PF30.

I'll let you know if a week or so. I have the PF to GXP version waiting for my SWorks Carbon Crux that comes in on Friday. I'll post when I have a few rides in.

    Thanks

I ordered one too. Mainly because it was cheap, and I had to buy a new frame and forks also. Some reviews I found on Origin8 BBs was that the bearings were good, so hopefully its ok.

If not I'll get something else when I get some more $$. or throw some enduro bearings in there.

Won't get the frame for a few weeks, so It'll be a while before I get to try it out.

Thinking about one of these for a BB30 Chinese CarbonSpeed 057 29er frame. Any feedback?

I run one on my 2014 Lynskey Pro29 with XT cranks. Other than losing my instructions and not knowing how much to torque the two 4mm hex bolts, it seems like I canít get them tight enough. It creaks when Iím really cranking. I tighten those bolts to the point where I think the bolts are going to snap. No problems with the bearings though...

I am on the second season with mine ~1200 miles. No major gripes. Bearings have been fine and still spin smoothly. The plastic insert shims for the spindle I am not a fan of. It seems to be picky about having ample clean grease to be quiet. But the might just be a EBB characteristics.

The knurled lip surface and the price are intriguing of the O8. I know many have had success with Wheels and Beer EBBs but those are almost 2.5X expensive as the Origin8.
