One-Off .... do you have something no one else has... yet....

I will start, I just got this back from Jeff Jones. Nice looking little thing. Now.... which bike to put it on/in...

Jeff Jones does incredible work and is one of the nicest persons to talk to. He is on my list of bikes that someday I must own.....

Thanks to Brent at Phil Wood who took a chance on my crazy idea....It came out nice.

Why do you do these things to me.Until I saw your photo I was going to be very happy getting the Jones H bars for #10. Know I have to ponder the BB. I have started to save allready for a 3D frame, fork and bar. Life is so hard.

The closest thing I have to custom one off item is... imagine this a top cap... it's the only one I've ever had that was a 4 way color cap. I've been hanging on to it for some special SS build.... some day Iit will have a home.

That is a crazy cool EBB!! It just oozes bling.... and drips of big dollars......

My favorite is the Hugh/Tigger opener.... I NEED one of those! I need a custom opener for my SS... because mine is lacking there too.....

Finally after all this time, I will get to swing a leg over the old girl on Monday. I start my drive early Monday morning from the SF bay area to LALA land. Probably be down at the Path in the early PM after a tasty Mexican cusine lunch.... any recommendations ????

Will post pic's as soon as the baby is born.... live action shots to follow.... stay tuned...

You lucky man, you. My favorite in SF is La Taqueria on 25th/Mission...
but on the road, down to LA? Hmm... Taco Bell? Honestly, I believe in eating sh!t food on a road trip. But, that may just be me.

Hey JS... what's up with any bike swaps coming up in the greater Bay?

How long has it taken, since conception to delivery? Hmm?

Me, I just finished my Moots, but now I need cash badly for my EuroTrip and need to sell the weels. That's how it goes. I get it finished 3 weeks before I leave, and can't ride it! crybaby.

Also, I am in the midst of building something real nice... something crazy, retro chic ultra modern rocky road.

Something that in about a year will be done, and I am sure no one else will have one. At least I hope so... I don't even want to talk about it. I will just jinx it.... <keeping fingers crossed>

What dictated the geometry on your bike? I've seen it a thousand times, and it's always struck me as oddly shaped--long/steep headtube, seatpost, low standover, high stem, etc. Obviously, it was custom, so you had a say in the measurements, eh?

Long cranks (190 mm) and dropbars. I told Matt I wanted a 13" high BB for pedal clearance, I was going to use an X Fly 100 fork and wanted the seat tube as short as possible for standover (actually higher than my old VooDoo) and to keep the end of the bars from hitting the top tube. I need to use a 400-410 mm seat post. The head tube is tall so I can use a "normal" stem with the dropbars. Head angle is ~71.5.

Fits me perfectly and does everything I ask of it. Even rode it to 2nd place in a Freeride Tournament a couple of weeks ago.

I designed it and had it machined. Six were made. I also run a Moonlighter Ti brake plate.

    It's very nice but...

...do you think it will fill up with dirt, mud, or rolly-pollies? Seems easy enough to clean anyways.

I have ants. Other people have ants, but mine are marching 1x1 and each is individually hand painted. Plus I've got ladybugs and one of my ants has gotten ahead of himself and is molesting a shoe.
