    On - One Inbreds Please

Hi, I've been thinking about purchasing an On - One Inbred. Was wondering if anyone out there had some pics of theirs and some feedback on the bike. Thanks.

great bike for a dedicated SS. had one of the early DN6 steel 'breds and actually regret selling it. steel is real!
guess the next thing is q's for the rider: style of riding? 1st dedicated ss? fork to be running?
great co. to work with as well- wouldnt be surprised if brant offers some help on here with questions, if we cant answer them.

    I love mine.

Well, maybe love is a strong word, it's not like I stand in the garage gazing at it or anything

    Some pics of mine. http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.ph...ghlight=inbred

I collected about 20+ pics of On-one bikes send me your email address and I will send them your way. I too wanted to check out how others had set them up.

FWIW I really like the way mine rides. I have only had it for a few weeks though.

I have the EBB disc only version of the Inbred, and I love it. I've had mine for about 3 months or so, and haven't ridden my Rocky Mountain hardtail since.
Some pick-up lines that may not work...

That shirt looks very becoming on you, but if I were on you, I'd be coming too.

Do you work for UPS? I could have sworn I saw you checking out my package.

You know what would look good on you? Me.

My love for you is like diarrhea...I just can't hold it in.

Lay down, I think I love you.

Say, you wouldn't know how to play the skin flute would ya?

So that's what 14" Inbred looks like, WTB-Rider. I have to admit... it shape of the frame looks a bit odd to my eye. The loooooong top tube that slopes down at that angle - coupled by the rather tall steerer tube - seems to give the illusion as if it was one of those women-specific bikes.

In a nut shell... I Luv It!!! Steel is amazing, especially with the Marzocchi upfront and the large volume specialized '05 Enduro's running No-Tubes! The only note I can make in particular for me is that I bucked the trend (& Brant's suggestion on the stem length)... I like a longer stretched out position and I got it with my set up (and no negative effects really!)...

Did I mention I Luv It?!?!?

Good luck in which ever way you choose... and Brant gives excellent response/service so don't be afraid to ask questions of him!

    Here's mine

or I mean, err.. a link to a previous post.
I love it so far. Smooth, whippy, and I'm a fan of steel. Yup yup. I get a lot of comments on the 5-piece seat stays, ala deKerf.
Right now it has a 48T ring on to help with commuting duties on occasion.
Personally I prefer the white Inbred vs. the special colors that are available in the US only (green and gold). But that's just me.

Here is a shot of mine. Just threw the 105mm marathon on there tonight. I rode the bike with my pike last weekend and decided that I really like the handling with the taller fork. Handles simillar to my 5.5" travel heckler. This is a 20".

Made me laugh this morning anyway.
Oh, and one more picture of mine since we're on a roll.

I'm really digging the gold ones. Wish the ol' lbs had an 18 instead of a 20 hanging on the wall.
Take the long cut, we'll get there eventually.

This is my 'bred in it's current incarnation. My wife bought me some H-bars for x-mas, so that explains the "comedy" stem. I had to throw in one of the guard dog after she decided to get in on things.

I noticed some of the on - ones are running disc brakes and some are not. Is the geared Inbred the frame that is disc compatible or are the ss's also?

I prefer riding a women's frame, how is she these days?

The earlier versions of the Inbred SS had eccentric bottom brackets for discs or horizontal dropouts for v's. I don't believe any of the EBB frames are around anymore although Brant has a sliding rear dropout in the works, iirc.

The geared frames have disc tabs.

The top tube is about 1" too long for me but only causes problems when trying to do really steep technical stuff.
I've just swapped my EBB with my girlfriends (got the 2nd one cheap) horiz dropout so I can have a back brake now it's fixed.
