    1. When you offer something for sale you are expected to kick down the $2 for an ad in the classified section.

    2. The phrase and design looks like a direct rip-off of the CRC OFS sticker (which happens to be only $1 and actually says One Fucking Speed). If the UK weren't so far away I suspect the Minn. Mafia would be over there beating you down with Surly Torsion Bars

Firstly, my apologies for not putting the $2 down, i was unaware of this as i am new to the Mtbr forum. I'm sure the mods would let me know if they are unhappy with wat i have done.

My design for the sticker was a variation of a sticker i have seen in the uk, not the CRC one. So it looks like a few of us over here in the UK may have to go into hiding if the Minn mafia are gonna beat us down with Surly Torsion Bars!!

I though we SS'ers where all suppose to be brothers, i'm sure the CRC guys arent to offended, not everybody wants '****ING' plastered all over our bikes and 'FECKING' is a good alternative over here in the uk as it is used on a popular comedy program 'Father Ted'.

    Damn, that's a blatant rip-off

Copying someone else's work and charging too much money on top of it. It even looks like the CRC sticker.

This April Fool's Joke is a month too late.

And you're right, we SSers ARE brothers. That's why when one of our brothers gets ripped off, we put the smack down on the offender.

TimK is now selling on eBay to a worldwide audience - I'm not associated I just check the eBay bike listings multiple times a day:

As a matter of interest... when is the "FECK CRC" sticker being released?

That is definatly a blatant rip off of CRC stickers. I ordered a CRC shirt and 2 CRC OFS stickers last year, Hurl was nice enough to throw in a some extra CRC stickers that i never even asked for, no charge. We should take up a collection for Hurl to fly over there and kick some ***.

Wow, Tim, that's pretty bold. Here's another quote: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." And by the way, do you think that it didn't "cost money to airmail 'em" to the UK all of these years? Just so some lazy punter could make a direct rip off? The least you could do is "fecking" fire a few off over here to CRC Industries. That'd be right.

    Design

I certainly didn't coin the phrase "one ****ing speed." That's simply an exclamation, as in: "bugger! That guy's bike has 'one ****ing speed!'" But the design of the sticker, yes, that was us at CRC. So sure, it's wack that Tim blatantly copied the design, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. Hopefully people will respect others designs/ideas and be forthright enough to acknowledge them.

    cheers,
