    Older Bianchi Pista Question

    Anyone know what year this might be?

    <img src="https://i11.ebayimg.com/01/i/04/e8/d9/31_1_b.JPG">

    After my previous <a href="https://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=129713" target="_blank">Bianchi Dilemma</a> turned out for the best (I rode it a couple of times and made some good money), I scored another one.

    The latest one is like the picture but it's for big kids. It is 24" c-c with a 23" top tube. You'd want to be around 6'3" or a bit taller. Padre? It's not new by any stretch, but it's sweet. Made in Italia out of Columbus Doppio Spessore Chromor, bambino. If anyone wants it before I list it on ebay, let me know. I'll put up an mtbr ad later today.

    I've got pretty much the same one, and was told that it's probably 1987 or so, long before the pistaCraps... It's between 58 & 60cm on both the top and seat tubes, I'm not sure exactly how to measure, but it seems about the same size as yours. I'm 6 foot, and it fits me pretty much like a glove...

    What kind of condition is it in? What were you thinking for price? I might be interested in picking up a spare

    I'd take $275 for the frame with a suntour headset and bottom bracket and a chrome fork.

    Sorry - little rich for my blood. I paid $400 for mine with all the original Bianchi branded Ofmega stuff. A lot of that is thrashed now, so I was kind of hoping to get some replacements...

    Gotcha. Not much in the way of parts on this frame. Those ebayers like 'em though. The newish Taiwan-made one I just sold went for $480.
