    old SS Vs New gearie

Before go SS my problem was if I should turn my old bike to SS or not. My new problem now is if I should keep my new geared bike or not . Riding solo is what I like most, just take the dog and go to mountains. With the SS I take things easy, if it is a big hill I push etc. If I ride with others though (that could happen once or twice a year) I think I will not keep up with them without the gears. But I think that "earning" some bucks worths more than keeping a "fancy" bike just for a couple of rides since when I am on my own I prefer the SS 100%. And since my only option is to sell the new one as parts on eBay, I will keep some upgrades for the oldie .

Unless your group rides are mostly flat fire roads, I doubt you'll have any trouble hanging with geared friends.
