    Cool-blue Rhythm Obsidian stout

Once i saw this bottle, all you SS'ers from Oregon on this board popped into my head.
I got home from a solo night ride tonight to find that my wife picked up some obsidian stout from deschutes brewery out of Bend,OR at the new store around the corner.. I have never seen or drank this before but it is a welcome change. I'm on the third now and it pretty good. Here's some attempted timer shots and the trail to keep it bike related.

Have you tried Old Rasputin - Russian Imperial Stout, by North Coast Brewery? For a lightweight like me, one of those'll do.

Ummm yeah it's good! Thanks MeatFoot for your hospitality, dinner, and of course your Obsidian Stout! Maybe next time I am through, we can ride.

Anytime you are in the area feel free to give me a shout. That beer was good. I like Obsidian, a meal in it of itself!

Hey MudFlaps- That imperial stout is very nice indeed. Trader Joe's has them in the typical 4 pack (10 oz. bottles). That ought to tell people something.

Heya shiggy ! Yup i made it to #4 last night before calling it a night.
TD 64 - I am worthy and that obsidian stout makes the ruination IPA seem "light"
I do like the arrogant bastard a bit more than the obsidian but this was a first run on that. I'll get some more for comparison!

Understood. I also like good beers and I'll have to check out the obsidian.

I'll tell you, living down the street from Stone Brewing for the past ten years has been hell. Now the bastards are opening up a World Bistro & Beer Garden... life sucks.

TD (on my second IPA for the night)
