New to SSing and I'm hooked!

I recently converted my old rigid Rockhopper to SS and after a few rides I decided I just had to try the Monocog 29er. I just completed my maiden voyage on the MC yesterday and I love it! It's amazing what you can climb when you just focus on momentum and anticipating the climb. The 29 inch wheels really seam to help maintain momentum especially when you're on top of the gear.
SS suits me well being a former powerlifter and also growing up riding BMX bikes. I'm more strong than enduring so I'd usually rather stand and mash than sit and spin for a longer duration. The SS also requires you to work in intervals on rolling terrain, coasting downhill and then being fresher to pound the climbs. There's nothing better than blasting past you're geary friends while they're downshifting for a climb

Yup. Although I must say that I was passed by a couple of gearies the other day on a not so steep climb. I think they were pullin a reallllly tall gear.
I had also been riding about 2 hours.
And a good day to you sir!
