New to SS so quick hello..

Hi there I'm new to SS riding but been into mtb riding just over a year, mainly got into it too loose weight (have now lost 5 stone) and I'm hooked! I'm now in the process of converting my Trek 3500 Disc into a SS just waiting for the last bits too arrive. Going to be running a 32t/16t combo which should be ok, not many hills where I ride, I mainly do local wood type riding. Got some Avid juicy 3's to go on next month and then hopefully will get some carbon forks then handle bars and seat post. Will post up pics when its done. I'm off to perv over your lots SS's lol.

New SS'er popping up all over the place, awesome!

"lost 5 stone"! Wow, that is 75 lbs for us non metric types. (yes, I had to google it)

    Welcome and enjoy the ride!

75lbs? Wow! I've not lost any weight since going SS. Though I still eat a lot of garbage, probably most of that problem. I like food way to much!

cheers guys, yeah carbon bars are next on my list, all ready upgraded them a while ago to some superstar ones cut to 710mm which I feel is a good length. But I think the best upgrade so far is the charge spoon saddle lol! Thanks for the weight loss comments, that was over a year period but really chuffed and feel so much better.

Typing is really hard with pizza sauce all over my fingers...

I use riding to justify my eating. Maybe I should try to eat a little better. But I can still beat plenty of smaller guys up the hills. And if I can't, I am better prepared for "boxing out" currently.
