New SS ...I may be in the market

https://www.specialized.com/us/en/bi...glespeed/51948 This week unfortunately my Ti SS had to be put out to pasture. Who has a Stumpy and will I like this bike for climbing around on stupid steep jeep trails? May also want to run 1x10 occasionally. I didn't realize this boy has the horizontal drop out thingy going on and I like that. Any other lightweight SS suggestions?New SS ...I may be in the market-fullsizerender-243.jpg Lynskey is gone now. Old Klein and the Ripley will have to hold the fort down for a bit!

    Pivot LES Frame only
LES - 29er and 27.5"+ Compatible Hardtail | Pivot Cycles | Performance Redefined

If the Ti bike had the frame crack then you have parts and just need a frame.

The Specialized seems really expensive for rigid SS $4000? I have to laugh at the "XX1 style chain ring for not drops" thing. It is frigging SS!

Thanks JoePaz ... I did spend some good money on the Ti bike with DT Swiss 240s hubs and no tubes rims, etc. but it's a 26er.

Personally I ride a Vassago Verhauen Single speed. Steel frame. Not the super light, but good and steel rides so well.

Vassago has Ti bikes too. I know of one long time Ridgeline rider that now in love with Vassago. Just got a Verhauen and loves how stiff it is compared to the lynsykey and it now looking at and Optimus Ti
