    New Salsa

Frame just came in, same with a bunch of thompson and king goodies. 25 lbs right now. i have a white industries 17t coming. i think that will be perfect with a 32 up front. right now its 32 16 and my knees hurt from my first ride on the bike. such a rad frame! geo is spot on. very fun bike! just thought id show all of you!

Looks great, love the drops on that salsa! What kind of fork/wheels are you running?

yes its an ala carte frame. yes it is a 26er. dont hate. its very fun. I am waiting on the spokes for my front wheel. so i have a backup dt wheel up front but my back is done.. the rims are laserdsk xc laced with dt revolution 1.8 x 1.5 spokes with black brass nipples on paul bolt on hubs. I am running tubes tight now with these moto 2.24 tires. but will throw some stans tape in for the summer and probably do some tcs tires. and as far as the fork goes.. well i just traded a sunline stem for it.. so i guess its a good deal for now.. i am going to EP a fox fork. i have a 2011 revelation but i dont think i can get it low enough for this bike...

spokes arrived, built up my front wheel, taped both rims with stans yellow tape and set them up tubeless. front tire is a WTB Bronson 2.3 race, rear tire is a WTB Mutano 2.4 race. they are not the TCS tires, so there not really supposed to be setup tubeless but it works just fine. final weight is 24 lbs

Nice! I'm eyeballing one of these as an xmas present to myself... How do you like the 'alternator' dropouts? Easy to set the chain tension?
