    New Bontrager heads up

Not a spam, and I'm not working for the shop in any way --

A local shop (in College Park, MD) has a red medium Bontrager OR frame in stock. It also has what I think is one of those special Bonty crown/steerers for a Judy or Mag 21. (I'm not sure which one because I forgot to ask.) I do know that the steerer/crown is a 1" threaded.

The manager told me it was a repaint so the paint is new with panel stickers. It's from the Santa Cruz factory.

It does have long, forward facing horizontal drops so that you can singlespeed it really easily.

That's about all I know. This is just a heads up for a relatively rare/unusual frame. If you want more info, PM me.

Stop it. I've got no room for more bikes and I've always wanted one of the old Bontragers. The fact that it is near by doesn't help me resist...

Ditch the blue bike, make the crosscheck your commuter, buy the bontrager as your road ride. Problem Solved! No charge.

Oh, just buy it! You'll find room for it. It is only a bike after all. They're skinny and slip into narrow spaces. And you really WOULD like it.

Sorry, just playing devils advocate here...
