    new BB, any recomendations?

hi there... i have an MP Dissent with truvativ GXP crank. i am in need this year of a new Bottom Bracket and was looking for reccomendations. i am not interested in spending much, but would like a good one. a couple questions...

    1-if i have a Gpx crank do i need a truvativ BB?
2-is a light weight BB a good idea or not?

    Pricepoint

Wheels Mfg $125 for $49, or Shimano XT or XTR under $60. I Love Shimano XT, but had 1 GXP STYLO crank and thought that was every bit as good. Wheels MFG says made in USA but I cannot vouch for quality. XTR good deal.

Replace the bearings in the existing cups with Enduro upgrade bearings:

+1 on AZ.MTNS recomendation. I've been using the same Endro BB for years with no issues.

Skip the RaceFace BB, they're junk.

The SRAM GPX BB's and the Shimano BB's are not interchangable. The cups are slightly different size and space off the BB differently.

    Good luck
