need rear tire suggestion, 2.3 or 2.4 inch size ...

I can fit up to a 2.5 inch (measured at the lugs) in my rear stays, but 2.3 to 2.4 inch is probably more realistic for clearance. Using a Maxxis Mobster 2.7"up front with rigid fork.

Need an all round rear tire for riding in the pacific north west (Vancouver BC).

I have looked at Shiggys tire site - very useful.

LBS has Specialized Roller Pro 2.3 on sale. Any one using it?

Anybody use ??? Panaracer Mega Blaster
    Kenda Cortez or Blue Groove
    WTB Motoraptor 2.4

I am currently using the Blue Groove up front and the Nevegal 2.35 in the rear. I am very impressed with the Kenda Tomac line and will be fitting 2.0 BGs to my trail rig as well

For wet and dry conditions I would use the Blue Groove or Nevegal 2.35/2.50. Very grippy.
Not sure how the Roller is on wet rocks and roots/wood. Nice in the dry and on rocks/loose.
Cortez I have not ridden much yet. Rolls well on the hard stuff. So-so to bad in slippy/deeper mud.
Motoraptor is great on rocks and the dry. Hate it in the wet.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
