    Need new QR seat collar...

Should I buy a Salsa skewer for my existing non-QR collar, which I'm not too sure will fit well, or buy a Salsa QR collar assembly? If I get the latter, what size do I need? My seat tube has an OD of 31.8 mm, but Salsa's collars come in 30 mm and 32 mm sizes--stretch a small one or squish a big one?

Jenson also has Hope QR collars for a reasonable price, and they come in better colors than the Salsa models do (seemingly just black and silver)--anyone have any experience with these? Thanks!

Late addition: I hate to say it, but the Hope model looks much nicer than the Salsa... (On another note, I don't care about weight.)

    I may have...

a black Salsa QR collar in the 32. Need to double check I need to sell it as I don't have the bike is was on anymore. I'm pretty sure its perfect.

Let me know if you'd want it.

Can't go wrong with the Salsa parts - they make fine stuff (no knock on the Hope) - I run Salsa clamps on all my bikes that use clamps!

    Go with the Hope

I just put a Hope Qr collar on my bike. It's really smooth. Much smoother than the Salsa on my GF's bike. I've had no issues with slippage either.
