    My version of bling (x-post)

    I just completed my rebuild, and it turned out even better than I had hoped for. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. If you want more simply check out my blog....Thanks for looking.


    A bunch of guys do this build spec thing so here goes:
    Wheels:
    CK SS hubs
    Sapim Straight spokes (modified Crows foot lacing)
    Mavic a719 hoops
    Kenda Nevegals (with tubes)
    Brakes:
    BB7s
    SRAM levers (great feel)
    Full length pink housing (preped, and dialed)
    Gecko rotor (front 203 mm)
    Avid rotor (160 mm rear)
    Drive train
    Eno Cranks
    Phil BB (113 mm symmetric)
    Boone rings front and rear
    SRAM PC58 chain
    Controls:
    JJ Hbars
    Thomson stem (15 degree by 140?mm)
    Cinelli bar tape (no grips)
    Primo bar ends
    Brooks green B17
    Moots set back post
    CK pink headset with custom spacer

    wow. wish I had the time, $$$$$$, and know how. What a cool bike and blog. Have a family member who works for King and she would be very proud.

    Thanks for the kind words....It really does not take that much time or know how...you just gotta try, and it helps to know skilled people who are nice enough to offer help. As for the money...well, if you shop around and take your time, you can accumulate some good stuff.

    I was surprised how easy some of this stuff was to do...getting the nerve to take a grinder to your favorite bike.....that is another topic all together.
