    My Spicer reborn (porn)

My Spicer saw dirt again yesterday for the first time since last December. I really missed this bike. During the down time, I upgraded some parts and here's the final re-build.

    Spicer Ti ebb frame
    Kelly disc fork
    King headset
    EC70 Monkey Lite XC bars
    Thomson stem
    Thomson seatpost
    Flite Ti saddle
    Salsa seat clamp
    Salsa wheel skewers
    Oury lock-on grips
    Hope Mono Mini disc brakes
King disc ss rear hub, King disc front hub
DT double butted spokes and Mavic 517 rims
Race Face Turbine LP 5 arm cranks w/34T Warhawk chain ring
    King Kog 19T
Race Face steel taper lock bottom bracket
Crank Bros SS Egg Beater pedals
    KMC chain
    Elite water bottle cage
WTB Mutano Raptor 2.4 front tire
Kenda Kinetics Stick-E 2.35 rear tire

It's weighs about 22 pounds and rides beautifully. Sorry for the crappy picture.

We don't quit riding because we get old.

I have a tough enough time trying to keep up with you on the "back up" bike, a wonderful cove hand job, I won't have a chance with the Spicer back in action. She's a beauty dude, where did you get to ride?

    Question

    Keith,

How much room do you have around the rear tire between the stays on that Spicer?? I am getting one soon and want to know what I can run back there.

    Ti-tastic......

Very clean looking ride, I like the way you ran the rear cable, clean straight line.

    Welcome to the Ti-kingdom.

I have not been able to catch you on a climb yet this year. Your killing me! We rode White Clay last Sunday...it was a mud slick from the freeze/thaw cycle of late.

I have about 1/4" - 3/8" clearance with the Stick-E 2.35 tire. Plenty of room. You will love the bike. Good luck.
