    My new SS build

Just finished up a relatively cheap SS build -- a converted Bizango (circa '95). My previous SS experiment got me hooked, but it was a tad small and the ride was a bit harsh (an alum Stumpy). So found a nice old steel frame to play around with, had most of the parts lying around, and voila -- here she is.

Not in love w/ having to use a tensioner, but it seems to do the job well so far. When I have time, I'll play around with some different gearing combos and half-links, etc. Perhaps an eccentric hub is in my future

Anyway, here are some pics, including the new SS peacefully coexisting with my trusty ol' Marble Peak (that both are orange is merely coincidence).

    Yeah, but it's orange!
    Just kidding. Nice bike.

Very nice bike(s)! I like how you color matched your frames to make a nice set.

It's like two brothers; I think one brother is cooler than the other.
