I just love the way the lefty rides .The extra inch and a half travel is great on the down hills and rough trails.I'm trying to post some more pics but upload images button is'nt working.

    spacers

    hi Saviour,

sweet bike, but I do like the raw frame and graphix of your 2003 1FG, especially with the black Xmax XL wheels...

can you post a pic of the free hub with the spacers you have used so we can have a look at what she looks like from the back...

PS. The mavic Xmax wheels, when you are freewheeling, does the free hub make that clicking sound as it ticks over?

That extra 1.5 inches of travel means that you are going to put even more negative rise in your stem to get it in the same place... Is that even possible?

WOW, that's very close to how my 1FG is being built up. I've got a spiderless Boone 32 ring for FSA carbon cranks being made as we speak. I'm also planning on a Boone 16t rear.

I"ll be running different rims and hubs along with Formula B4SL+ brakes. Kenda BG 2.0 DTC lite up front and Kenda Karma 2.0 DTC in the rear. I'm expecting under 20 lbs.

    Nice ride!

Sweet bike. One question though. The 1FG is an EBB right? So what's up with the funky non threaded deraileur hanger?

    spacers

    Hi Savious,

Cool, what spacers did you use on this set up, what kind of gear is it? Do you have any pics of this bike from the rear view so I can see what the spacers look like?

    Thanks

J, I'ts a 36x17 gear and I think the spacers are made by spot. I don't have a pic. of the spacers but I will get one up for you in a few days.
