    and " Bicycle Bob" Gregorio whom I don't know.

    About time or Chris IMO.
    For Travis cool that this year he gets this and his love child with Trek 96er decals :-)

    An Industry Icon and Two of Durango's Cycling Greats will
    be Inducted into Mountain Bike Hall of Fame.
    The Induction Ceremony will be held
    Wednesday, September 27th, 2006,
    Interbike, Las Vegas.


    The inductees selected for placement into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame include Chris King, a creative genius and fabricator, "Bicycle Bob" Gregorio, a pioneer renowned for his mechanical abilities dating from the early roots of the mountain biking movement, and Travis Brown, a NORBA National Champion and long-time passionate mountain bike racer.     Selected by a vote of past Hall of Fame Inductees, the cycling press and current Hall of Fame members, these folks will be welcomed into the Hall on Wednesday, September 27th,2006.The Induction Ceremony will be held during the Interbike Show at the Sandís Expo and Convention Center immediately following the first day of the expo at 6:30 p.m. All Interbike Attendees as well as the public are invited . Beer will be served.

    Chris King, Industry
    " Bicycle Bob" Gregorio, Pioneers
    Travis Brown, Racing History


    The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame & Museum was founded in 1988 in Crested Butte, Colorado. Ten mountain biking pioneers were inducted the first year; three to seven mountain bike legends have been selected annually since then. The 2006 selections bring the number of Hall of Fame inductees to 97 individuals plus four groups. The history of the sport of mountain biking, many of the early fat-tire bikes, and the stories of Hall of Fame inductees are presented at the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame Museum, which is located in lovely downtown Crested Butte.
