Thanks for posting these, Matt. Great shots. Your awesome photographs recall good times. It's only Thursday yet to me it feels like BC happened long ago. Was it really just last weekend?

    Awesome pix Matt

Bringing back memories, just like it was yesterday. Which it was, almost.

    What's that scary white stuff?

Anyone else want to move BC from the equinox to the solstice? It's bad enough I had to wear a sweat shirt on my otherwise-sunny commute this morning. Damn, it's only Nov.

Those are a pair of cheesy 3 lb. carbon steel motorcycle handlebars. But the levers... oooh, the levers are special. Jen-ewe-wine Tomaselli Racer motorcycle cable-levers from way back before most off-road motorcycles came with hydraulic brakes. Those Tomaselli levers were stock items on my bright red '86 Stumpjumper (which was my second mountain bike). Yeah Brutha, I bought it brand new.

I've been riding mountain bikes for a while now... I turned 52 yesterday; the Stumpy turns 20 next March.

That green peaky mountain by the lake bothers me. I'll have to ride it some day.

Great pix, Matt. Now, I'm almost wishing I'd done the Suttle Lake ride on Saturday - the trail looks really fun, and the views are great. (Needless to say, the other group had a great time on Metolius-Wendigo-Jack Creek on Saturday without you guys!!) Anyway, here's a parting shot of the Sasquatch himself, gettin' cozy with an Earthpig. (Would the offspring be a Saspig or an Earthsquatch?)

Keep your eyeballs fixed on this forum. Barbie Camp happens twice each year. 2006 BC dates are:

    Spring BC: March 31 - April 2
    Fall BC: October 27 -29

Both Saspig and Eathsquatch are great names for offspring, but let's hope that you'll be carrying it to term, since I can't afford anymore weight gain

It was great riding with the Idaho crew, as well as the Washington crew and the Cali crew. Did I forget anyone? Looking forward to Spring Barbie, we just have to wait patiently thru 5 months of rain.

NICE pics Sasquatch... Thanks for posting em.

    Here're a few more.

Was fun riding w y'all. Looking forward to again... BUT... 5 months of rain is way too long, NEED something to look forward to before then. I ride year round here in Seattle but maybe a mtb trip to the great Southwest is in order... dry trails & margs... yes please!

Anyone get a pic of Seattle Barbie gettin branded? It's there on the back of her thigh... I see it... only I can't quite remember it happening... head fog.

Dang right she was brave, she only flinched a little (or was that the person holding her) when I first touched the brand to her creamy white thigh..

I'm starting to worry about you Mudflaps. You enjoy the smell of seared plastic a bit too much.

I imagine you home late at night in your garage, standing by a hot plate, heating the brand and to imprint your new leather chaps, while an army of Barbie slaves, locked into cages with random superhero figurines, await the call of Brandmaster T.

No but I have been receiving email alerts from the BLO, Barbie Liberation organization. They have been watching you for years, suspicious of your late night activities, but they didnt have any proof of your perversion until you performed your devious acts in public. It's only a matter of time now before they kick down your doors, and liberate their sisters.

Nice pictures. It was good to meet, and share a campsite with you.

This should work out just right. And you can vouch for my pyrotechnic abilities.

Between you and Tracy, there would definitely be a show of some kind.

I'm unsure about this group my friend. They don't seem to be as welcoming as the Mojo's back home. Normally someone would have quoted us and said something regarding a few Texans and a crazy Canadian attending the partee.

    So wassup peeps?

Keep your cool, my friend. Barbie Camp isn't a wild orgy; you can see by the photos what it is. Attend if you like; everyone over the age of 18 is welcome. Well, that is so long as they, uh, keep their cool. No guns, no fireworks, no fights, no punks, no kids, no losers. You guys seem like you'd fit right in.

    Ya think?
