Misfit Psycles SS hubs on sale

    Hey all,

I know some of the other Ontario folks know Misfit. But thought I'd give a general heads-up.

After chatting with 'em today, I ordered myself a set of their in-haus ss hubs ... you can get the pair for $99 US, and free shipping right now. Find them here:

Yes, they look rather familiar (cough, On-One, Woodman, etc).

But I think this one has some nicer internals. Rear builds up dishless, and it has a burning skull on it.

    Just fyi.

They do look like the Novatec et al which Nasbar is selling with their logo for ~$39 (rear only).

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

    I'd looked at the Nashbar.

I was told Misfit went with better quality internals than the Woodman, which he used to stock. Novatech uses 3 pawl, this is 4. Etc.

And I'd rather support the dude in middle-of-nowhere Ontario than Nashbar. Which also makes finding 36 hole EDIT - 36 hole xc-ish rims (Nashbar) a touch more difficult to find.

And for my Canadian compatriots who don't have friends with US addresses, and want to avoid those inconsistently applied yet annoying border charges, perhaps a better deal in any case.

I appreciated the service and product, figured there was no harm in tossing them into the mix.
