    Midge bar questions

I've read more than a few people rave about the Midge bars, my question is about stems, what angle do you recommend, (I understand that a riser stem is important with these) and did you need a shorter, or longer stem that you would reide with a flatbar?

    Thanks

    Hard to recommend

something so arbitrary, but for reference, I went from a 5º rise with bullhorns to a 40º and a 1/2" spacer up.

You need a stem that will get the drop-section of the bar near enough where your flat bars are...if the frame is not designed for off-road drops (ie huge long head tube) you will probably need a 30-40deg stem.

Look at this set-up guide from the man himself
