I was searchin' out for some Midge bars- instead of getting them from the UK; stock in the US iffy sometimes...

Saw the Mary Bars for $37 (the midges too!) at
    http://mtb.unrealcycles.com/catalog/item462.htm

Shipping knocks it up some...but still a good price

MyGfriend needed two, and the ship stayed the same- so find a friend!

Origin 8 makes a knockoff in black. Misfit has the FU and FU2, both are available in black.

The Origin isn't a bad option but it does not have nearly the same angle as the Mary bars. Just keep that in mind if you do go that route. I have both bars Mary's on my MTB and Origin on my road.

EDIT: a pic to show as example

Origin8 has a bar that more closely mimics the Mary.

The Misfit bars are excellent substitution, but one has a lot of backward sleep and the other isn't particularly wide.

    Soma Clarence

I like the Soma Clarence bars. They're available from Universal Cycles, among others.

I heard Mary bars are prone to breaking=hope you have dental insurance!

Perhaps the issue has been resolved, and sorry I can't provide the link, but in the recent past I heard it was a liability to ride with these....
