Major Props to Phil Wood & Co (xpost)

Broken aluminum axle on Saturday, new stainless steel axle by Monday at 5pm, and a new bearing on one side because, "it didn't feel quite right".

BTW, the axle broke because the axle end wasn't properly tightened. Check 'em if you've got 'em.

    Buy something: https://www.philwood.com/

Damn good company, amazing cust service and great products! LBS stripped out my rear track hub axle and I called Brent up, they sent one free of charge in 2 days, at the time I was messengering on them so taking days off because you don't have your bike doesn't pay the bills... your paying more for the Phil hubs but you'll get it back in return because the things will last your lifetime and if anything goes wrong they stand behind em.

Coolbeans FE. Glad they took care of you.

So nice to hear stories like these rather than the 'we don't know you and you probably damaged it doing xyz'

    Way to go Brett!
