Lost of noise coming from rear...

Hey I have a surly singleator held up in the push up mode with two zip ties, a SS sram chain, a kickass rear cog, and a surly chainring up front.. this setup is making some insane noise. (It almost sounds as if two metal cheese graters were being scraped together)

Ive lubed the chain many times recently and the noise just keeps going. I do think it has to do with the chain though...Any solutions?

Is the chain 3/32 or 1/8? If it is 1/8 you need to switch the cage around on the tensioner to accommodate it.
