livestrong bracelets
I have a few...the best purpose for them is this...
I support the cause, but I don't want to wear them. I like when Martha, my bike, wears hers though...

Good use. It'll look better when it gets coated in mud and ****.
I support the cause, but I couldn't be more sick of Lance Armstrong.
Thanks for posting up the pic. I've got a buddy who's a bit Lance fan. He'll be happy to see that. I'm building wheels with him next week.
Need more beer...

yeah, pass on the idea. no one has said anything to me when they see the live strong hub. I like it, and it is very dirty right now.
I hope it catches on.

I put them just behind the headtube of my bikes, where the top tube and down tube meet.

The next one will dangle from the top tube. I am going to get David Blaine to do some street voodoo for me so that I don't have to cut the frame.

Whatever you do, don't try to do the cut/melt thing on the bracelet. I broke one once (can't sit still, had to explore the thing's limits). Tried to use a lighter to urn it back together, and the thing just caught fire. The fuses smelled very toxid. Hope I don't raise my changes for cancer (not too much pun intended, I do support the cause, hence the bracelet). Good glue might work though. I wonder if the bracelet will keep my hubs shiny, I never wash my bikes.

mmm....nothing like burning plastic/rubber. Gnomelike plastic rubber alloys...
It will not keep your hubs shiny at all. If you had a a fabric or leather, then yes, but not rubber. Collects so much road grime (that bracelet's on my Surly Pacer of death).
been up since 3 am. Annabel likes to share her mysery. She's teething. The little chompers are coming in. I can feel them when she gives me the Draculaish bites on my arms.

Did the same with my recent fixie build
Still need to snap a picture, since the guy who built the hub wants a picture for his website. After 2 months of riding with the band on the hub I've only had one comment from another rider.
