    Last night's ride

Last night I wasn't up for a "regular" loop around the local trail so I rather took the singlespeed and hit it. Oh my, I gotta tell you that this last weekend I replaced the rear rim (and spokes) from a Mavic 717 to a WTB i23 and I can feel the difference in confidence immediately, the grip is not so great given that the thread is already almost gone but still, the way the tire feels on the back and how predictable the movements are, braking included, make up for it.

I was able to clear almost 99% of the trail, which is a lot, I mean, it might be a flatish trail but still has some good ups and downs (Trail Link here) and all in all it was a great ride.

I am posting this here since none of my coworkers understand how great it is 1. To ride and 2. To ride a singlespeed so, there you go. Lets keep the bikes moving.

Update here, last night I was able to clear 100%, not 98, not 99 but 100% of the trail and the ride accounted for a 9th overall position (not many Strava users though) but I know those guys and they don't ride singlespeed, so, thus far, I am the king, even if that statement is wildly lame and obnoxious, it placed a secret smile on my face last night before bed.
