That'd be too much! I'm setting up my rig with red components. Do what I do and get some red chainring bolts. Add a little color with small things like aluminum bottle cage bolts. Costs little and adds a nice touch.

Well, I'eve ridden my SS for a little over 100 miles so far and I can honestly say that I absolutly LOVE IT!!!!

I can feel myself getting stronger and stronger on the climbs and I have almost mastered the art of spinning on the flats. I did discover that my bike rides and handles a LOT better with about 25-30 psi in my Ignitors... it took me a while to figure that out.

My poor geared "beater" bike hasn't seen the trail since I started riding my SS... but I will take her out to Devils Den in Arkansas for the race up there on the 16th.

Anywhoo... I am livin' and lovin' the SScene....

yup. mine just doesnt quite have the bling....with the parts or the frame. mmm. exogrid.

    edit:

so, how on earth does a person get all the blingy colors (blue, red, etc) from hope? my M4's on the 29er are the stock gold color, which work on an orange bike, but the next build might need some other colors.

Your bike has a very balanced-looking geometry. I'm curious about the geometry spec's and how tall you are. I'm looking to have a custom 29er built - my first one.

all those accent pieces are OEM hope products and all are available in the 6 or so standard hope colors. check out their UK site for what's available: http://www.hopegb.com/

i got half of my hope stuff from http://www.monkamoo.com/ and the other half from http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/

To answer some questions of what exactly an Exogrid frame is made out of....

....here's what a cross-section of what the titanium wrapped carbon fiber burrito looks like:

Recently ditched the Salsa DD rims for Stan Arch hoopz. She dropped a full pound (now at 21 even-ish).
