Inexpensive SS frame build...Surly vs IRO?

IRO Mia or Surly 1 X 1 ? Opinions? Just looking to do a possible SS build and wanted to keep the dough down.

    Brant,

How does the unforavorable exchange rate for us Yanks effect the price of your frames?

I'm really digging your new frame that's in the works - the one being designed for a 4 or 5" fork, but I fear it could be prohibitively expensive to purchase here in the US. My budget is really tight these days.

Any insights you could provide would be great.

the weak $$ isn't going to help, and we haven't even finalised pricing (or spec).

Check out the pedal shop (pedalshop.com). They have a couple of inbreds for sale.

The weak exchange rate is killing me.

edit. The inbred would be my frame of choice if I had the scratch. There are a couple of other cheap rames too, including soul cycles. ridesouldotcom.

    Liking my Surly so far

No problems with my Surly 1x1 so far. Nice ride and it handles well.

If you are trying to save money, there seems to be an inexaustable supply of used & new 1x1 frames on Ebay and in the MTBR classifieds.

    I got a Soma 4one5 for 375.00 shipped.
Your bike can take you anywhere, anytime, over any terrain but, you have to force it to GK 2004. BB1, who started it?
