    I Double Dog Dare You

Thanks to "A Christmas Story", we all know your tongue will stick if you try and lick a flag pole, but what about a bike frame? Would it matter if it was painted or not; how about carbon fiber? Bueller, Bueller, anyone, anyone..

Never gets that cold here. Rotors would be a key spot, lets see some pics.

I like mine well enough to possibly have gotten that personal with it, but I'll be damned if I post a pic.

Brad, your in sunny CA.... ???? Why do you care? LOL!

My 8 year old son and I did a test last winter here in the the land of Cheese and snow.
Our test was to try to freeze his tung to different stuff out side. I stood by with a flask of warm water. So what ever he stuck too we could easily release him! However I did make him promise to behave for the next 20 years before I released him from winters death grip!

The findings were that if a object had a lot of cold mass (like a flag pole) you will stick and not easily get off. However with both hot breath and spit you can do it with out loosing too many tung cells!

Small object like spoons did not stick even if they were below 0 temps.

So I'd say an unpainted metal frame would stick. But a brake rotor is unlikely.

the answer is yes...if the frame is cold enough, your tongue will stick to it. haven't you ever gotten your tongue stuck on a popsicle or ice cube in the summer?

i have to tell this story:
a couple of winters ago it was -10 with a wind chill of "holy **** it's cold" i was pumping gas, and my wife dared me to stick my tongue to my zipper on my jacket. and , of course i did like an idiot. I thought it would not stick very bad b/c the zipper is so small. but of course i was wrong and it stuck so bad when i pulled it off it took a bit of skin from my tongue and hurt like hell. thats from my WTF memories..hope you enjoy that
