... and if we just ... I did it and I'm happy about it!

About a month ago I bought a Specialized Rockhopper with an eye towards converting it to SS. I bought the cheap one and today the deal is done. I took off all the gears and went with a 32x18 with no tensioner and I am psyched. Should be able to go 342x16 with a half link. I'll soon be converting to disc brakes. All I had to buy was a new chainring and the rear cog and spacers. With out all the gear crap it is light and will become lighter when I replace the low end fork. I was even able to take the shifters off of the brake levers so I didn't have to replace them right away. I'll post pics soon but I really am jazzed up.

    I got a SS.

Way to go, man, but remember that to the rest of us a picture is worth a thousand jazz sessions. We need some visual love.

I'm not much of a technical guy but I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.
