    hub Opinions (X-Post from 29er)

I 'need' to build to build another front wheel for my MC Ute currently in a 96er configuration. I am running an ENO Eccentric Rear (its a geared Ute) and would like something to compliment it up front. The wheel will be built around a DT Swiss TK7.1d. I have narrowed my search down to the following three hubs:

    Hadley Disc
    Paul Disc FHub
    Phil Wood Disc

I have four CK wheelsets and while I love King, I am looking for something new to try. I know this is a high class dilemma and any of the three would be great, I guess I am trying to justify the extra $70 the PW hub would cost versus the other two. I have a PW on the 26" wheel that is for this bike, but again and going to ride it 96'er style for a while. Thanx in advance for your thoughts!!

I have had no troubles at all from my Paul hubs (disk f/r). They are nice and smooth. What about the Hopes? Have not used them, but am considering.

Phils are some of the smoothest, easiest to service and undoubtedly the most indestructable hub on the market. You can't go wrong with Phil Wood.

Phils are pure bling. Pure good bling. On-your-knees bling. $70 is so forgettable.
